If you read my little stories of the doings of Troop 51, you will know that I first began experimenting with “pyramiddle” tents on the
Dietz Pond campout. There you will see a picture of one made from a camo tarp bought at Walmart. In the 99-Cent Tent article, you can see a pyramiddle tent made from a clear plastic drop cloth. All this lead up to the big deal for the summer – 5 days backpacking the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. The pyramiddle below is the one I used for that adventure.
