The Furnish module is where you will spend the bulk of your time when designing with PartyCAD. It is here that you will load icons, called "pieces of furniture," and arrange these to create your event designs.

PartyCAD comes with over 1500 pieces of pre-built furniture that are available by clicking on the Furniture Album or Party Gallery buttons within the Furnish module.

Another button brings up the Tent Wizard where you can design any frame, pole, clearspan or marquee tent you might need.

Once a piece has been loaded, you can drag it with your mouse, or use the keyboard and precision placement controls to put it just where you need it.  Other buttons make is easy to duplicate a piece, or fill an entire tent with tables and chairs. You can change the size and rotation of pieces, and even create new pieces by resizing and combining existing furnishings. Pieces can be clumped together into groups, and you can assign these to different layers to simplify complex designs.

Although most of your design work will be done using a top view of the arrangement, as in the illustration, you can switch to a front or side view in those situations where the vertical position of pieces is important. PartyCAD's Help Videos will show you how to do all this and much, much more.

Once your design takes shape, a button click takes you to other PartyCAD modules to view it in three dimensions.
