Clicking the Party Gallery button
in the Furnish module brings up a screen similar to the one at the
right. This is another way of selecting furniture for inclusion in your
plans. Whereas the Furniture Album presents
pieces on album pages, the Party Gallery organizes furniture into
scrolling icon lists. With over 1500 pieces of pre-built furniture to
choose from, it is good to have options.
The Furniture Gallery can show you just
those pieces you have designated as favorites, or it can show you pieces
you have used recently.
To speed your design work, you can
select multiple pieces in the gallery and load them all at once, and
the
gallery also has a Find command that will quickly locate pieces that
might take minutes to find flipping through pages in the Furniture
Album.
In addition to all of the above, if you
are a sophisticated PartyCAD who builds his/her own furniture, the Party
Gallery lets you manage the furniture you create.
Nearly
all of the furniture in PartyCAD was built using the package itself. If
you would like to try your hand at making your own, the Building
Furniture Help Video will get you started,
and PartyCAD contains various tools to simplify the process. At the
right is one such tool, called the Piece Editor. This allows you to fine
tune your pieces and can also be used to import simple 3D models created
with other CAD programs.
