According to Information Week Online, Proficiency Inc., Marlborough, Mass., has developed Collaboration Gateway, a software application that will allow CAD users to share and modify files developed with different CAD packages. Ford Motor Co. has been using a pre-release version of the software, and the commercial release is expected in mid-2001.
