XPLORE (WORKING TITLE) |

Xplore is a game of interplanetary exploration, of players going where no player has gone before. Xplore is still in early development (the game doesn’t even have a real name yet) but we’ve released a basic version with the minimal functionality to test the core mechanics.
In Xplore, you will compete to find the most elusive treasures and become the top-ranked explorer. Probes are constantly searching planets for the ruins of an ancient alien race. These ruins are heaped with valuable treasure. When ruins are discovered, all players can visit the new site and collect the treasures there. Collecting treasure increases a your score, and the longer a treasure goes uncollected, the more it is worth when it is finally found. Will you gather hundreds of easily accessible treasures at newly discovered sites, or hunt the last few (incredibly valuable) treasures at one of the first discovered sites?
You will have to overcome rugged terrain, alien wildlife, and ancient temple defenses. Luckily, most sites have tools and weapons which will help you navigate the ruins. From attacking at a distance, to creating platforms to stand on, the tools can help you defend yourself or reach previously inaccessible areas. Most tools also have multiple uses!
You will have to use all your cunning and ingenuity to find the best treasures. You must truly go where no player has gone before, walkthroughs won’t help here. |
